SCHOOL DRIVER

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must be 35 years of age or older.
  
• Possess a valid driving license with the appropriate class endorsement D1, D2 or D3.
  
• Have a clean driving record with no major traffic offenses.
  
• Minimum of 5 years' experience driving school buses or passenger service vehicles.
  
• Must meet all statutory requirements, including:
  
• Valid Certificate of Good Conduct.
  
• Valid institution PSV License
  
• Compliance with NTSA regulations.
  
• Any other statutory requirements as prescribed by law. Excellent knowledge of road safety regulations and defensive driving practices.
  
• Ability to maintain discipline and ensure the safety of pupils while in transit.
  
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Physically fit and of good moral character.
  

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport pupils and staff to and from school and other authorized destinations. 
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of the assigned vehicle.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, school policies, and safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate vehicle and trip records.
