Qualifications and Requirements
- Must be 35 years of age or older.
- Possess a valid driving license with the appropriate class endorsement D1, D2 or D3.
- Have a clean driving record with no major traffic offenses.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience driving school buses or passenger service vehicles.
- Must meet all statutory requirements, including:
- Valid Certificate of Good Conduct.
- Valid institution PSV License
- Compliance with NTSA regulations.
- Any other statutory requirements as prescribed by law. Excellent knowledge of road safety regulations and defensive driving practices.
- Ability to maintain discipline and ensure the safety of pupils while in transit.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physically fit and of good moral character.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport pupils and staff to and from school and other authorized destinations.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of the assigned vehicle.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, school policies, and safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate vehicle and trip records.
