The role also contributes to strengthening trading capabilities, processes, and systems in a dynamic and evolving investment environment.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p><b>What You’ll Be Trusted With</b></p><p><b>Trade Execution and Market Interaction</b></p><ul><li>Execute local and global equity &amp; FX trades in line with portfolio manager instructions, mandates, and best execution principles.</li><li>Manage order flow across multiple portfolios, ensuring efficient execution while minimising market impact and transaction costs.</li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and counterparties to support optimal execution outcomes.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Market Insight and Trade Strategy</b></p><ul><li>Provide real-time market colour, liquidity insights, and trade ideas to portfolio managers.</li><li>Contribute to the development of trading strategies, including block trades, programme trades, and liquidity sourcing.</li><li>Monitor market developments, pricing trends, and trading conditions to inform execution decisions.</li></ul><p><b>Risk Management and Governance</b></p><ul><li>Ensure adherence to mandates, compliance requirements, and internal trading policies.</li><li>Monitor pre- and post-trade risks, including exposure limits, liquidity constraints, and settlement considerations.</li><li>Maintain strong controls and audit trails across all trading activity.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Collaboration and Portfolio Support</b></p><ul><li>Work closely with Portfolio Managers and Portfolio Implementation teams to align execution with investment strategy and portfolio objectives.</li><li>Partner with Risk, Operations, and Compliance teams to ensure smooth trade lifecycle management.</li><li>Contribute to a disciplined and transparent trading environment.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Systems, Process and Continuous Improvement</b></p><ul><li>Support the effective use and optimisation of trading platforms (e.g. CRIMS or equivalent OMS).</li><li>Identify opportunities to improve trading efficiency, automation, and execution quality.</li><li>Contribute to trading analytics and transaction cost analysis (TCA) initiatives.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Who you are</b></p><p>You are an experienced and disciplined Equity Trader who thrives in a fast-paced investment environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality execution outcomes.</p><p></p><p>You bring:</p><ul><li>A relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Investment Management, Economics, or a related field.
