Job Advert Summary

PPC is embarking on an initiative to sponsor unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 35, with Grade 12 Unemployed Youth are invited to apply for the 12 month YDP Trainee positions The program is designed to assist in accomplish portable skills and gain experience in activities that will assist in the MQA Sector Skills Plan (SSP).

Minimum Requirements

  • Unemployed youth
  • Must be a South African citizen
  • Between the ages of 18 and 35
  • Minimum highest qualification should be a matric certificate (Grade 12)
  • Certified copy of Identity Document
  • Certified copy of Matric/Grade 12 Certificate
  • Proof of Residence
  • Candidates must reside in either Diepsloot, Olievenhoutbosch, Laudium, Atteridgeville, Lotus Gardens, Silverton, Kya Sands, Middelburg
  • Candidate must not have participated in a previous YES program at any other employer

Duties and Responsibilities

PPC believes in investing and developing youth within the communities it serves. A Youth Development Program is therefore designed to develop and prepare young people to meet the challenges of industries by gaining experience in a working environment through a structured development plan. Skills and knowledge will be transferred through this program to suitable young individuals.
