Supply Chain Manager - Harare

Role Overview

We are seeking a high-caliber Supply Chain Manager with a minimum of 10 years of experience to design and oversee the end-to-end logistics and procurement framework of our partner organizations. This role requires a strategic architect who can manage complex global or regional networks, optimize supplier relationships, and ensure the seamless flow of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Sourcing & Procurement: Develop and implement sourcing strategies that ensure high-quality material acquisition while minimizing costs and mitigating supply chain risks.

• Logistics Optimization: Oversee the "last-mile" delivery, warehousing, and transportation strategies to ensure timely fulfillment and inventory accuracy.

• Vendor Relationship Management: Build and maintain a robust network of suppliers, conducting regular performance audits and negotiating long-term contracts.

• Inventory & Demand Planning: Utilize data-driven forecasting to manage stock levels, reduce waste, and ensure the system can scale to meet fluctuating market demands.

• Operational Excellence: Implement Lean or Six Sigma methodologies to streamline internal processes and improve overall supply chain resilience.

• Leadership & Integration: Mentor a cross-functional team and collaborate with Finance and Marketing departments to align supply capabilities with business growth goals.
