Crystal Africa Cleaning Service Limited is a Kenyan sanitation, waste management, and hygiene service enterprise founded in 2015. Operating out of Airport North Road, Nairobi, we serve over 100,000 residents and commercial clients, processing over 4,000 tonnes of waste monthly while driving circular economy waste-to-resource logistics across the region. The Role We are seeking a disciplined, high-integrity Senior Treasury Accountant to lead our financial operations team. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, this is a critical leadership role responsible for enforcing fiscal rigor, safeguarding corporate liquidity, and managing our multi-tiered capital structure.

Key Responsibilities

● Financial Team Leadership: Supervise the daily output and accuracy of the Biling, GL, and Reconciliation specialists, ensuring a l financial data is verified before fund movements are authorized.

● Banking & Liquidity Architecture: Manage a multi-bank structure designed for capital segregation. Oversee the strategic flow of funds between revenue colection, operational, and reserve accounts.

● Capital Preservation & Yield Management: Monitor weekly cash positions to identify excess operational liquidity and execute scheduled transfers into designated corporate reserve vehicles and interest-bearing accounts.

● Workforce Compensation Security: Oversee the specialized funding cycle for our expanding workforce to ensure the dedicated payrol account is fuly liquid and secured wel in advance of disbursement.

● Operational Control & Funding: Exercise authority over operational floats by validating field-data reconciliations, with the mandate to suspend funding to any unit where variances or integrity issues are identified.

● Compliance & Audit Readiness: Supervise the General Ledger function to ensure zero-penalty statutory filings and maintain a rigorous project-tagging system for grant-funded initiatives. Required

Qualifications & Experience

● Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.

● Certification: Ful CPA-K or ACCA membership in good standing.

● Experience: Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or team-lead role managing accounting staff.

● Executive Exposure: Direct experience working closely with or reporting to executive management (CEO/Board level).

● Sector Background: Prior experience in high-volume cash or operational environments such as Logistics, FMCG, Sanitation, or Environmental Services is highly preferred.

● Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in ERP systems, Excel financial modeling, and cash flow forecasting.
