Project and Position Overview:

DEPGM (Digitally Enhanced Poverty Graduation Model-DEPGM) project provides an innovative blueprint that will drive rapid scale of VE program, while maintaining same or even higher level of impact. The Product Scaling Officer plays a crucial role in driving the expansion and growth of the VE business portfolio. Working in rural communities in Kenya, the PSO will be directly responsible for launching at least 300 businesses per year. In its approach, the project heavily utilizes digital technology in a new way that will ensure exponential scale of VE’s poverty graduation program, thereby helping to support tens of thousands of ultra-poor households to improve their income and well-being simultaneously within a short time frame. S/he will represent Village Enterprise’s interest at the local government and community level and will take on any other responsibilities delegated by the supervisor or Country Director.
