Portfolio Manager

Responsibilities: Manage new client onboarding through the official digital client onboarding channel. Provide excellent customer service to clients, attending to their financial needs timely. Monitor the performance of the loan portfolio against key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Portfolio at Risk (PAR), and targets. Actively engage existing, high-quality clients to achieve refinancing, ensuring long-term portfolio stability. Proactively scout and onboard new high-potential loan clients per month and expand the current portfolio. Manage and follow up on USSD-based inquiries, successfully converting leads into active loan applicants. Secure and process new clients each month to meet aggressive organizational monthly disbursement targets. Build strong client relationships, conduct regular follow‑ups, and promote repeat business and referrals Ensure all lending activities comply with lending policies & regulations, local financial laws, anti-money laundering (AML) protocols, and "Know Your Customer" (KYC) standards. Requirements: Must be a Petauke or Chipata resident Diploma or better in Sales, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 2 years’ experience in microfinance, insurance, or other relevant industries Customer service excellence Proven track record in sales generation and portfolio management. Upholds confidentiality, demonstrates integrity, reliability, and respect in all interactions. Self-Motivation, Proactive, results-driven, and able to manage portfolios independently with accountability for targets. Dedicated to continuous learning, improving skills, and advance within the organization. Skilled at interpreting complex financial data and translating it into actionable strategies that drive sustainable impact.
