Job Description

We are seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Motor Vehicle Spare Parts Store Keeper to oversee the receipt, storage, issuance, and inventory management of automotive spare parts.

The successful candidate will ensure accurate stock records, maintain optimal inventory levels, and provide excellent customer service by assisting customers and mechanics in identifying and purchasing the correct spare parts.

Key Requirements

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming motor vehicle spare parts.
• Organize and store spare parts systematically for easy identification and retrieval.
• Issue spare parts to customers and workshop personnel in accordance with company procedures.
• Assist customers in identifying and selecting the correct spare parts for various vehicle makes and models.
• Process sales transactions and prepare quotations where required.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using manual or computerized inventory systems.
• Conduct regular stock counts and participate in periodic stock audits.
• Monitor inventory levels and recommend replenishment of fast-moving items.
• Ensure proper labeling, shelving, and housekeeping of the spare parts store.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and sales reports.
• Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
• Adhere to company policies on inventory control, safety, and loss prevention.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Education

• Certificate or Diploma in Automotive Engineering or related field
• Good knowledge of motor vehicle spare parts, vehicle makes and models, and parts cataloguing systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Excel and word
