Job Description
- FTTH installation and activation for residential and enterprise customers.
- Fiber optic splicing, jointing, termination, and testing.
- OTDR & OPM testing, signal tracing, and fault resolution.
- ONT configuration, OLT activation, and router installation.
- Indoor & outdoor cabling and customer premises equipment (CPE) setup.
- Fiber troubleshooting, attenuation checks, and connectivity restoration.
- Backbone support, cabinet patching, and JC identification.
- Preventive and corrective maintenance of GPON and fiber networks.
- Lead field teams during fiber deployment and network maintenance activities.
Requirement.
- The main technician must have knowledge on Safaricom fiber.
