Job Description
- Manage the daily operations of the household, ensuring a clean, orderly, and well-maintained environment.
- Coordinate and supervise household staff (e.g., cleaners, cooks) to ensure tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Manage grocery shopping, meal planning, and inventory tracking for household supplies.
- Oversee household errands, including managing service providers, vendors, and maintenance appointments.
- Maintain household budgets and keep records of expenses as requested.
- Provide attentive, nurturing care for children, ensuring their safety and emotional well-being at all times.
- Coordinate children’s daily schedules, including school runs, extracurricular activities, playdates, and appointments.
- Prepare healthy, nutritious meals and snacks for the children.
- Assist with homework supervision and engage in educational, age-appropriate activities to support developmental milestones.
- Maintain a clean and organized space for children’s play, study, and rest.
- Experience: Proven experience in household management and professional childcare (references required).
- Reliability: High level of integrity, discretion, and reliability.
- Organization: Exceptional time management and multi-tasking abilities; capable of balancing domestic duties with childcare needs.
- Communication: Fluent in English and Kiswahili, with strong interpersonal skills to interact professionally with family members and household staff.
- Safety: Basic first aid training and knowledge of emergency procedures is an added advantage.
- Education: Any relevant training is an added advantage.
