Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Farm Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Rain Fed Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of our farm operations, including crop planning, irrigation management, and labor management.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement crop plans to ensure optimal crop yields and quality
• Manage irrigation systems to ensure efficient water use and minimize waste
• Supervise and manage labor to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects
• Monitor and control costs to ensure profitability
• Collaborate with the Farm Manager to develop and implement strategies to improve farm operations
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Farm Manager

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in farm operations management
• Proven track record of success in managing farm operations
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to travel to farm locations as needed
• Familiarity with farm management software and technology
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment
