Direct Sales Representative

<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><strong><u>Key Responsibilities</u></strong></span></p><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li class="ortl-align-justify"><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Sourcing prospective customer leads from various sources, such as referrals, cross-selling opportunities, sales activations organized by the bank or sales leads provided by the bank.<strong>&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp;</span></p></li><li class="ortl-align-justify"><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Explaining the features of the products to prospective customers in line with the product's specifications and treating customers fairly.&nbsp;</span></p></li><li class="ortl-align-justify"><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Guiding customers on how to complete applications for the respective product they wish to purchase.<strong>&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp;</span></p></li><li class="ortl-align-justify"><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Reviewing of the application and documentation provided by the customer to confirm accuracy.<strong>&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp;</span></p></li><li class="ortl-align-justify"><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Authentication of customer details by checking the original copies against photocopies of documents provided e.g. National ID and passports.<strong>&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp;</span></p></li><li class="ortl-align-justify"><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Forwarding completed applications to the relevant Sales Manager or Retail Support Team, within 24 hours of sign-off by the customer.<strong>&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp;</span></p></li><li class="ortl-align-justify"><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Prospecting customers for any other Bank products suitable for their needs.<strong>&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp;</span></p></li><li class="ortl-align-justify"><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Ensuring safe custody of customer documents under their care.<strong>&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp;</span></p></li><li class="ortl-align-justify"><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Forwarding customer feedback or complaints to the respective Sales/Branch Manager.<strong>&nbsp;</strong>&nbsp;</span></p></li><li class="ortl-align-justify"><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Sharing market information from the field to the leadership to improve the bank’s products and provide regular Sales reports.</span></p></li></ul><p style="line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><strong><u>The Person</u></strong></span></p><p style="line-height: 115%; margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">For the above position, the successful applicant should have the following:&nbsp;</span></p><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li class="ortl-align-justify"><p style="line-height: 115%; margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Be a graduate of a recognized university.</span></p></li><li class="ortl-align-justify"><p style="line-height: 115%; margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"><span>&nbsp;Have </span>2 years’ working experience in Sales.</span></p></li><li class="ortl-align-justify"><p style="line-height: 115%; margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Have excellent analytical and interpersonal skills.</span></p></li><li class="ortl-align-justify"><p style="line-height: 115%; margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Have a passion and commitment to quality service.</span></p></li><li class="ortl-align-justify"><p style="line-height: 115%; margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.</span></p></li><li class="ortl-align-justify"><p style="line-height: 115%; margin-bottom: 0in; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Can meet stringent targets within defined deadlines</span></p></li></ul>
