Purpose of the Role To maximise value across manufacturing operations through continuous improvement, effective cost management, and embedded financial controls. The role partners with operational leaders to drive sustainable savings, strengthen governance, optimise working capital, and improve overall business performance across manufacturing operations.

Minimum Requirements:
Must have a CA(SA) NQF Level 8 Post Graduate Diploma or Honours Degree in Finance Professional registration with SAICA is required CIMA (advantageous) Professional registration with CIMA (advantageous) Up to 10 years' relevant experience Minimum 5 years' management experience Minimum 3 years' factory/manufacturing or operations experience Multi-category experience Proven leadership experience

Duties & Responsibilities:
Continuous Improvement and Savings Govern the continuous improvement savings framework, pipeline, KPIs, and benefits realisation. Drive initiatives that deliver sustainable savings and operational efficiencies across manufacturing operations. Operational Cost Management Lead operational cost planning, budgeting, reporting, and performance analysis. Partner with operational teams to identify opportunities to improve cost performance and drive accountability. Capital Expenditure Governance Oversee capital expenditure planning, spend controls, and governance processes. Monitor capital projects to ensure alignment with business objectives and approved investment criteria. Working Capital and Inventory Drive effective stocktake, inventory, and working capital governance and improvement. Monitor inventory performance and support initiatives to optimise working capital. Financial Controls Strengthen financial controls and governance across manufacturing and operational processes. Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and governance standards. Operational Projects Lead or support operational projects focused on improving cost, controls, and business performance. Provide commercial insights and financial support to strategic operational initiatives. Leadership Provide leadership, direction, and guidance to the team. Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, continuous improvement, and delivery of business objectives. Develop talent and drive capability within the commercial operations function. #LI-LW1
