Job Summary:

The Kenya Railways Corporation is seeking to recruit an Assistant Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of financial statements, budgeting, and financial analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Assist in budgeting and financial analysis.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Accountant.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of accounting software and systems.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
