Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate accounting records and financial transactions.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and management accounts.
• Ensure compliance with all KRA statutory requirements, including VAT, PAYE, withholding tax, and other tax obligations.
• Manage eTIMS invoicing and ensure compliance with the latest KRA regulations.
• Support payroll processing and maintain payroll-related records where required.
• Maintain accurate records within the accounting and ERP systems.
• Assist in budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and financial planning.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing the required documentation.
• Liaise with internal departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Perform any other accounting and finance duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience working in a busy, fast-paced business environment.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong computer proficiency.
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks Accounting Software.
• Experience using HR software, ERP systems, and CRM systems.
• Knowledge of Odoo ERP will be a distinct advantage.
• Strong understanding of KRA compliance requirements and eTIMS.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Responsible, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Positive attitude with the ability to adapt and perform under pressure.
