Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled freelance Video Editor to join our team. This role is project-based and critical for supporting our end-of-year content production schedule. The ideal candidate is self-sufficient, highly organized, and capable of producing high-quality, engaging video content under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw video footage into polished, compelling final videos for use across various platforms (e.g., YouTube, social media, internal communications).
• Implement motion graphics, text overlays, sound design, music, and color correction/grading to enhance visual appeal and narrative flow.
• Ensure all videos adhere to brand guidelines and platform-specific requirements (e.g., aspect ratios, duration limits).
• Manage and organize project files, assets, and media efficiently.
• Collaborate closely with the content team and stakeholders to incorporate feedback throughout the editing process.
• Meet daily and weekly deadlines for multiple concurrent projects.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proven professional video editing experience (portfolio required).
• Expert proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
• Strong understanding of video production techniques and post-production workflows.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Detail-oriented with a critical eye for visual consistency and narrative quality.
• MANDATORY: Must possess and use their own reliable, professional-grade laptop capable of handling video editing and rendering tasks.
