Job Description

The consultant will be responsible for providing technical support to the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation health emergencies prevention, preparedness and response activities on the ground. The consultant will support other UNICEF-supported activities across RBC divisions. This encompasses both direct programme work with government and support to teams working on health, nutrition and HIV.

Minimum Requirements

Education:

  • Advanced university degree (Master’s or equivalent) in Public Health, Epidemiology or Health Sciences

Work Experience:

  • A minimum of two years of relevant professional work experience is required. This includes work on public health emergencies, at national level
  • Experience working MOH/RBC is considered a strong asset
  • Background and/or familiarity with UNICEF program are considered as a strong asset

Language Requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge of English and Kinyarwanda
