Outrival HR Solutions & Consultancies Ltd is recruiting for the position of a Technical Sales Representative on behalf of a reputable client in the sound systems industry, based in Nairobi, Kenya. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving frontline sales, building and maintaining strong customer relationships, generating leads, and ensuring a seamless sales-to-delivery process. This role is ideal for a proactive individual with excellent communication skills, a strong sales acumen, and a passion for providing outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promptly and professionally attend to all customers, including walk-ins, referrals, and leads, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products or services.
  • Generate new sales leads and actively follow up to convert them into customers.
  • Prepare and process Proforma Invoices (PFIs) and Sales Order Forms (SOFs) accurately and promptly.
  • Follow up on payments and coordinate product delivery schedules efficiently.
  • Maintain long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Support product demonstrations and actively showcase product features to clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of sales promotions and campaigns.
  • Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and escalate where necessary.
  • Track daily sales activities, maintain accurate sales records, and report performance metrics.
  • Identify new business opportunities and contribute to sales growth strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3+ years of proven experience in sales or customer relationship management.
  • Experience in retail, B2B sales, or product-based sales is an added advantage.
  • Basic technical knowledge of speakers and sound systems.
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, and digital sales tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Good moral standing.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
