Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage cost control, contract administration, and financial aspects of our construction projects. The successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents
  • Manage project budgets and cost control processes
  • Evaluate and certify subcontractor payments and variations
  • Conduct cost analysis and value engineering
  • Prepare interim valuations and final accounts
  • Monitor project financial performance and report on cost status
  • Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Ensure compliance with contractual and commercial requirements
  • Support procurement and project teams with cost-related inputs

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 10+ years of professional experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry
  • Experience working for a main contractor on construction projects
  • Mandatory experience in large-scale construction projects involving 10+ story buildings
  • Strong experience in cost estimation, budgeting, and contract administration
  • Proven track record in managing project costs and delivering within budget
  • Experience with both civil/structural and MEP works is highly preferred
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and financial management skills
  • Proficiency in cost management software and Microsoft Office tools
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
