The company seeks to add Sample Catchers with different levels of experience for Ghana operations. The Sample Catcher is expected to work 12 hours per day, 7 days a week on a flexible rotation schedule. The Sample Catcher is responsible for retrieving, washing and preparing cuttings samples. Assist the Surface Logger and Senior Surface Logger with other activities when requested. Comply with all quality, health, safety and environment procedures set by GEOLOG and the client to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- University Degree in Technical or Earth Sciences related, or previous experience as Sample Catcher for no less than 6months.
- Proven, extensive knowledge of rig safety regulations and safety issues.
- Analytical and methodical approach to work.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English essential.
- Ability to pass a work related physical and drug screening.
