Outrival HR Solutions & Consultancies Ltd is recruiting for the position of a Sales Representative on behalf of a reputable client dealing with furniture, based in Nairobi, Kenya. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving frontline sales, building and maintaining strong customer relationships, generating leads, and ensuring a seamless sales-to-delivery process. This role is ideal for a proactive individual with excellent communication skills, a strong sales acumen, and a passion for providing outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promptly and professionally attend to all customers, including walk-ins, referrals, and leads, ensuring a positive experience.
- Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products or services.
- Generate new sales leads and actively follow up to convert them into customers.
- Prepare and process Proforma Invoices (PFIs) and Sales Order Forms (SOFs) accurately and promptly.
- Follow up on payments and coordinate product delivery schedules efficiently.
- Maintain long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Support product demonstrations and actively showcase product features to clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery.
- Assist in the development and implementation of sales promotions and campaigns.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and escalate where necessary.
- Track daily sales activities, maintain accurate sales records, and report performance metrics.
- Identify new business opportunities and contribute to sales growth strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3+ years of proven experience in sales or customer relationship management.
- Experience in retail, B2B sales, or product-based sales is an added advantage.
- Basic product knowledge, specifically in furniture.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, and digital sales tools.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Good moral standing.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
