Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide overall medical leadership and oversight of clinical departments.
  • Lead quality assurance, clinical governance, clinical audits and continuous improvement programs.
  • Oversee daily clinical operations, including staff scheduling, resource allocation, and equipment utilization.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and support hospital accreditation requirements.
  • Manage clinical costs and support identification of service expansion opportunities.
  • Lead mentorship, supervision, and development of medical staff.
  • Develop and implement clinical protocols, guidelines, SOPs and performance metrics.
  • Oversee clinical documentation standards and ensure accurate, timely medical records management
  • Support hospital strategic planning and clinical service development.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB)
  • Valid KMPDC registration and practicing license
  • Minimum 5 years’ clinical experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Training in healthcare management, Public Health or MBA is an added advantage
