Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Language Consultant to join our team on a 12-month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing language support to our Investigation Section, ensuring that all language-related tasks are completed to a high standard.

Responsibilities:

• Provide language support to the Investigation Section, including translation, interpretation, and language review
• Develop and maintain language resources, including dictionaries, glossaries, and style guides
• Collaborate with team members to ensure that language-related tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
• Conduct language-related research and analysis as required
• Develop and implement language-related policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as linguistics, language teaching, or translation
• 3+ years of experience in a language-related field, preferably in a similar role
• Excellent language skills, including fluency in English and at least one other language
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
