Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Language Consultant to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing language support to our clients in various languages, including English, Swahili, and other local languages. The consultant will work closely with our investigation team to provide accurate and timely language services.

Responsibilities:

• Provide language support to clients in various languages, including English, Swahili, and other local languages.
• Work closely with the investigation team to provide accurate and timely language services.
• Conduct research and analysis to provide language support to clients.
• Develop and maintain language resources, including dictionaries, thesauri, and other reference materials.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless language services.
• Provide training and support to colleagues on language-related matters.
• Stay up-to-date with language trends and developments.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Language, Linguistics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in language consulting or a related field.
• Excellent language skills in English, Swahili, and other local languages.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
