About KCB Foundation

Established in 2007, the KCB Foundation serves as the social impact arm of the KCB Bank Group, driving initiatives focused on sustainable development and community empowerment.

Over the years, the Foundation has invested more than KSh 1 billion across East Africa, supporting impactful programs in Kenya, South Sudan, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, and Burundi. These efforts are geared towards reducing poverty, improving livelihoods, and addressing the region’s most pressing social and economic challenges.

For over 18 years, the KCB Scholars Programme has opened doors for academically promising but financially challenged students, enabling them to access quality secondary education.

The 2026 intake continues this legacy, targeting students who have achieved Meeting Expectation (ME1) and above across all learning areas.
