Job Description

The purpose of this consultancy is to provide technical implementation support for the rollout and operationalization of the UNFPA Supply Chain Control Tower and Supply Chain Orchestration and Analytics (SCOA) framework at regional and country level. The consultant will be based in Nairobi, Kenya, and will work under the technical supervision of the Supply Chain Orchestration and Analytics Specialist (Team Lead) for Nairobi, with close coordination with the UNFPA Supply Chain Management Unit (SCMU) SCOA Hub in Copenhagen. The consultant will function as a mobile technical expert supporting Country Offices (COs) and Regional Offices (ROs) in the practical implementation of Control Tower dashboards, orchestration workflows, supply chain analytics tools, and related capacity-building

Responsibilities

• Supporting onboarding of Country Offices to Control Tower dashboards and analytics tools
• Support the operational rollout of the UNFPA Supply Chain Control Tower platform across Country Offices and Regional Offices.
• Assisting country teams in integrating Control Tower insights into operational supply chain management processes
• Supporting configuration and validation of supply chain data flows used within the Control Tower platform
• Providing hands-on technical assistance to procurement, shipping, and inventory teams on the practical use of dashboards and analytics tools
• Supporting the identification of supply chain risks, bottlenecks, and operational challenges using Control Tower insights

Requirements

• An advanced degree (minimum Master's degree or equivalent) in Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics, Logistics or a related field is required.
• A minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in supply chain analytics, logistics and procurement data analysis, supply chain information systems, development of dashboards or data visualization tools, and operational supply chain management.
