Branch Infrastructure Technology BIT Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented BIT Officer to join our team. The BIT Officer will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and security of our systems and data. This includes conducting regular security audits, implementing security measures, and responding to security incidents. The BIT Officer will also be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data. This includes implementing access controls, monitoring system activity, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The BIT Officer will work closely with our development team to ensure that our systems are secure and meet the necessary security standards. The BIT Officer will also be responsible for providing security training and awareness to our employees. The BIT Officer will be the primary point of contact for security-related issues and will work closely with our management team to ensure that security is integrated into our business operations. The BIT Officer will have a strong understanding of security principles and practices, including risk management, threat analysis, and incident response. The BIT Officer will also have experience with security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption. The BIT Officer will be a self-motivated and proactive individual who is able to work independently and as part of a team. The BIT Officer will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and will be able to effectively communicate security-related information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The BIT Officer will be based in Nairobi, Kenya and will report to the Head of Security.
