Job Description
A well-established multi-franchise dealership in Cape Town is seeking motivated Automotive Apprentices to join our workshop team. This opportunity is ideal for individuals passionate about the motor industry and committed to developing into qualified motor technicians.
Apprentices will receive structured, hands-on training across multiple vehicle brands while working under experienced technicians.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist technicians with servicing and repairs on various vehicle brands
- Perform basic maintenance tasks (oil services, brakes, inspections)
- Learn diagnostics and fault-finding techniques
- Maintain workshop cleanliness and equipment
- Follow health and safety standards
- Complete apprenticeship training modules and logbook requirements
Candidate Requirements
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12) with Mathematics and Science preferred
- N2–N4 Mechanical / Automotive qualification (current studies or completed)
- Strong passion for the automotive industry
- Willingness to learn and grow technically
- Good communication skills
- Must reside in Cape Town or have reliable transport
